Creativity abounds!!

Well, as you know if you've read my last couple posts, I've actually been getting some creative things done. I have not, however, gotten any pictures of anything that I've created. Nor have I gotten anything posted in my ArtFire store yet. I hope to get a little of both of that done over the long Thanksgiving weekend, between going to the family gatherings, stuffing my face, and putting up my Christmas tree (Yes, I said CHRISTMAS tree, not HOLIDAY tree). Anywho, I'm going to get back to work on my darling little Santa head earrings. And maybe a Christmas tree earring or two. God bless, Lacey

Not so long...

Well, readers of the innernets, at least it hasn't been quite so long since you last heard from me. I finally got the bunk beds arranged and my work station re-organized. I also found my living room floor, which I didn't think was ever gonna happen. I'm supposed to be washing dishes at this point in my day, however I decided I was going to take a break. So instead of doing what I should be doing I'm sitting here talking to you (and listening to the roofers work next door). Don't you feel special? Anywho, on to some good stuff. After finally finding my work station I created a pair of earrings. They're quite nice if I do say so myself. I'll tell you more about them and have pics in a day or so, hopefully. I'm probably going to start on a really cute pair of Santa Claus seed bead earrings tonight for my mom. She decided she had to have some. I've also got to work up a couple of the adorable little Christmas Tree earrings like the ones I made last year for her. If I like the way they all turn out I may end up making some to sell in my ArtFire shop. Who knows. Last but not least, one of my new favorite websites, FaveCrafts, is having a giveaway!!! They're giving away a copy of The Chicks with Sticks Guide to Knitting. I personally don't know how to knit, but I'm going to register for the giveaway and if I win I will then attempt to learn to knit....like I don't have enough to do... Oh well. Moving Stuff

Since I was last here I have managed to play some with the scroll saw. I have also managed to make a few passable beads. I have purchased a set of bunk beds and completely rearranged my house. I despise moving stuff. It shows me exactly how much crap I have accumulated since the last time I moved stuff. Now instead of figuring out what to do with all the crap that we have accumulated, I'm sitting here at the computer and contemplating lunch. Oh well, maybe I'll think better on a full stomach. One Day Short

Well, blog readers of the innernets, it has been one day shy of a month since I last posted. In that month all sorts of things have gone a bit wacko. However, I'm here today to share some great news with you. I have finally got some bead release that works. Which means I can play with my torch now (YIPPEE, WOOHOO, YAY!). I also have a wonderful honey which brings me new toys to play with. My newest toy is a vintage Dremel Moto-Shop Scroll Saw Model 57-2. I'm not sure how old this actual saw is, but I do know that they quit making them in the 70's. So, it's a few years old. However, with a new blade and some oil she runs like a top. I can't wait to start playing!!! Problem is, now that I've got bead release and a new (old) scroll saw I can't quite figure out which one to play with first!!!!

Yes, I know.....

...it's been many many many days since I've posted. Once again my life got in the way of what I want to do. It happens. I have some great news!! At least it's great news for me. I just opened my very own ArtFire shop!!!! The shop name is Lacey's Lovelies. There is nothing posted for sale right now, simply because I haven't taken any pictures. I also need to do some figuring and work out some prices. So give me a couple days and hopefully I'll have something there for ya'll to go ogle!! Oh, click here to go visit my shop!! Rainy day blahs, Being sick, and an Upcoming trip

Today it's kinda rainy and cloudy and I'm feeling totally unmotivated at the moment. There are a million things I should be doing, but I just don't particularly feel like doing much of anything. I've had some sort of weird stomach bug the past couple days, so I'm blaming that for my lack of motivation. However there is a bright side. Chris and I are going to be taking a bit of a break from the real world with 2 glorious days at a campground in Axtel, KY. I know most of you are like "Where?", but trust me it's a really nice place to just kinda get away and relax on the lake. We're taking our monster conversion van that has all the comforts of home (except for a bathroom, which the campground furnishes). I think it's going to be great!! I'm taking the camera and will hopefully get some awesome pictures! Then Chris is taking some vacation days so that he can get some work done on our valiant Valiant. He has to finish putting the Valiant back together so we can get started working on my Duster. I can't wait to start. The great thing is that parts are easier to find for the Duster than they are for the Valiant. The bad thing is that the Duster needs more parts than the Valiant did. All in all though I think the Duster rebuild will go well. I've got some pics of the Duster that I should get up for ya'll to see sometime or another. Well, guess that's about all I've got for now. Still here....

Just a quick note to let ya'll know that I'm still alive and kicking. Just haven't been very creative with much of anything lately. Haven't really felt like doing much at all. Hopefully, things will perk up in the creative department soon. Lacey
